Gain Carbon Literacy accreditation

The Carbon Literacy Project is the accrediting body for the rapidly growing community of individuals and organisations taking meaningful climate action through Carbon Literacy® training. Gaining accreditation offers awardees a visible badge that showcases their commitment to climate action and dedication towards creating and maintaining a low-carbon culture.

Whether you’re an organisation embedding training across your teams, an educational institution making climate part of your everyday learning, or a trainer helping others take meaningful action, there’s a way to gain recognition for the scale and impact of your Carbon Literacy in practice.

Why get accredited?

Becoming an accredited organisation clearly demonstrates that you are embedding Carbon Literacy meaningfully across your people, workplace and culture.

Externally, it helps position you as a leader in your sector, drives stakeholder engagement and opens new funding and partnership opportunities. Operationally, those accredited often see low energy use, reduced costs, and more resilient supply chains, all of which help future-proof your organisation. Internally, accredited organisations see stronger staff engagement, improved collaboration, and a more joined-up approach to sustainability.

Accreditation enhances your reputation and helps others trust in the value of what you do. It is not just about where you are now, but where you are heading. Interested? Explore all Carbon Literacy accreditation schemes below.
