There are many ways that you can support The Carbon Literacy Project, whether you are an individual or a large corporation.
1% for the Planet
The Carbon Literacy Trust is partnered with 1% for the Planet.
1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions, offsetting their environmental impacts through a donation of 1% of annual sales. Your organisation can choose to donate your 1% directly to The Carbon Literacy Trust, to help create a more sustainable planet.
Commercial partnerships are vital to our current and future successes. Organisations donate funds to us both as part of their CSR, to offset their environmental and carbon footprint, to support our work and to benefit commercially from their association with our Project and our brand.
At any one time we have a mixture of significant headline sponsors that help support the core overheads of the Project, and a range of smaller organisations that donate to fund or sponsor a range of our ventures.
There are opportunities for private sector sponsorship of training materials, courses and certificates, events, meetings and conferences, plus other opportunities to share a platform and benefit from the enormous public and private sector network engaged in Carbon Literacy.
To explore these opportunities with us please Contact Us.
You can personally donate any amount money to The Carbon Literacy Trust by emailing email@example.com quoting ‘Donate’ as the subject.
You will then receive bank details to which you can make a one-time donation, or set up a standing order to donate a set amount per month. Your donations are greatly valued.
As a registered charity, donations to the Trust from UK basic-rate taxpayers qualify for Gift Aid. Donating through Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It won’t cost you any extra. You can make a Gift Aid declaration for The Project to claim by filling out this form.
ICT Reverse recovers and recycles your unwanted electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Their services include computer and IT disposal, mobile phone recycling, laptop, PC and other IT recycling, and similar electronic devices for recycling under the European WEEE Directive.
IT and telecom equipment donated to ICT Reverse via The Carbon Literacy Project generate funds for The Project directly. If you are interested in exploring this option on behalf of your organisation, then please Contact Us.
Sponsor a School
There are many schools who would like to deliver Carbon Literacy to their students but lack the funding to offer it at scale.
By sponsoring a school, your organisation will help to develop the next generation’s understanding of the changing climate, providing the impetus for action from a young age.
