Welcome to our Trainer Support page. This space is designed for trainers to connect, grow and feel supported as part of the Carbon Literacy trainer community. Here you’ll find updates, key resources, events and opportunities to connect you with both the Trainer Network Team and fellow trainers.

Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy (DSCL)
Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy is a free 1.5 hour workshop mandatory for anyone wanting to deliver Carbon Literacy training. Taking place every 3 weeks, this event covers the Carbon Literacy Standard, administration processes, Marking Guide, Trainer Code of Conduct and Trainer Certification Scheme.

Pioneers Event
Pioneers is our flagship networking event for Carbon Literacy trainers. These are hybrid events, simultaneously hosted in-person in Manchester and beyond, as well as online. If you are interested in hosting a Pioneers event, get in touch with us at [email protected].

Trainer Catch Up & Connect
Trainer Catch-up & Connect is an online get together on the last Thursday of every month (unless this falls on a holiday, when it will be the week before). This is an informal meeting where trainers get the chance to set the agenda and share their experiences and best practice. Everyone is welcome at these events regardless of whether you have started delivering training yet.

Other trainer events
We also host Spotlight events and other trainer development events, including our Trainer Month in September. These events are free to attend for our certified CLTs and CLCs, with a small charge for CLFs, informal and interested trainers.

People Planet Pint
Hosted by Small99, People Planet Pint events are a relaxed space where anyone can share ideas, connect, and take action on sustainability. No agenda, workshops or webinars, just a chat over some drinks. Pop down to your local People Planet Pint event to find more about what’s going on locally with sustainability and how you can get involved.
