How We Protect Your Privacy

May 2018 by Virginia Harvey

You’ll have probably heard that this May the law on holding personal data will change to help protect your privacy.

Staying on our mailing list means you’ll keep receiving email news about The Carbon Literacy Project, The Carbon Literacy Trust, and any events and activities directly linked to us and us alone.

We will only contact you to award your certification, to inform you how to keep your certification up to date and to let you know about enhancements to The Project and your certification.

We keep your information safe. It will never be sold or transmitted to any third party and will only be used directly in connection with The Carbon Literacy Project.

We hold the information you gave us when filling out the Participant Details Form (example here) at the end of Carbon Literacy training or the information that you gave us when you attended a Carbon Literacy event.

As always, you can ‘opt-out’ of receiving communications from us at any time by simply clicking the Unsubscribe link in any of the emails we send to you. We won’t intentionally send you any emails if you have chosen not to hear from us.
