23,000 Certified Learners
We are delighted to announce, that on the eve of the landmark COP26, we’ve reached another learner milestone!
23,000 learners are now certified as Carbon Literate. This means that over 46,000 actions have been pledged – in communities, businesses, local authorities, schools and universities, across the UK and beyond – to take meaningful action towards a zero-carbon society.
Numbers have been accelerating rapidly throughout the year, and we have now certified a record 7,000 learners since the beginning of 2021. With our Carbon Literacy Action Day due to take place next week on the 1st of November, we are hoping to see numbers increase even more before the end of this year.
