The Next CLO Award Ceremony: October 2017 (Details TBC)

Deadline for CLO Applications: 5pm on Friday 8th September 2017

In November 2016 we held the inaugural Carbon Literate Organisation Award Ceremony – in Nick’s Bistro on the set of Coronation Street – as hosted by ITV Studios. Our CLO Awards 2016 were such a success due to the hard work of each of the fourteen organisations that we proudly accredited on that evening. Spurred by such positivity, we are holding our 2017 Awards Ceremony in October 2017. Applications must be complete and submitted to the Project, with the appropriate fee, by 5pm on Friday 8th September 2017.

About CLO

The Project developed the Carbon Literate Organisation (CLO) accreditation to offer organisations a visible ‘badge’ that showcases them as (i) committed to Carbon Literacy, (ii) having a substantial number of people who are Carbon Literate, and (iii) having a commitment to support its Carbon Literate people and maintain its low carbon culture.

A friendly note: At 5pm on the 8th September we will be increasing our prices for CLO accreditation. Applications that arrive to us late will be required to pay the higher fees. Late applications will also not be guaranteed places at the Awards Ceremony due to the lead time required to order trophies from our supplier (it’s out of our control!) Please apply nice and early and we’ll be in a much better position to assist you! 🙂
